A new drug for macular degeneration Enrollment Period: 11/19/99 - 10/22/00 To qualify for this study, you must: -Be at least 50 years of age -Not qualify for, or have refused, laser photocoagulation -Not be taking medications to prevent blood clotting except aspirin -Not have had experimental or radiation treatment in the eye to be studied Participants will receive (benefits): -Study drug and eye exams at no cost To find out more about this and other studies contact: Jennifer Trombley, R.N.
